FIRST YEAR DEPARTMENT
The Applied Chemistry Department of Anuradha Engineering College is handling important different portfolios of the college such as
1 Ant ragging committee: Dr. M.V. Kadu is the chief coordinator of the committee and is handling all the documentations and causes
related to maintain ragging free campus.
2 Grievance Committee: To solve the problems related to the women’s working staff and girls students, as per the norms of UGC the
college has set up a Grievance Cell, Dr. M.V. Kadu is the active member of the cell and is handling all the documentary work and
causes related to the cell.
3 Nature Club: the club is always engaged in nature awareness related activates. Every year the club organizes nature trail in a
nearby forest area, drawing competition for college and school students, quiz competition to generate awareness related to nature,
seminars on various environmental issues, nature photography, public awareness programmes, plantation programmes, guest /expert talk,
on resources conservation activities.
The staffs of the department are actively engaged in all the SGBAU, Amravati work like paper setting, paper valuation, practical
examinations (internal and external), officer and co-officer incharge for theory examinations.
The staff members have completed all their refreshers courses from time to time.
All the staff members of the department are the members of student mentoring committee.

About Us
The Department of Electrical engineering is established in 1993, the Department of Electrical Engineering has an excellent team of experienced, qualified faculty and non-teaching staff. It has a 21 years long history of technical education. The Faculty member’s research papers are published in peer reviewed journals like IEEE and IEE. The department is always enthusiastic in conducting various courses and workshops for the faculty and students to permeate advances in technology.
The department is well equipped with Broad-band of 100Mbps speed and Wi-Fi facility. The Electrical department has three phase power supply in the Electrical Machines lab and also has a DC Rectifier to provide supply to DC Machines.
The department has developed excellent laboratories in the domain of Electrical Machines lab which consists
1. DC Machines which consists of DC Generators and DC Motors
2. AC Machines which consists of AC Generators and AC Motors
3. Starters for DC and AC machines
4. Single phase Machines
5. Special Machines, AC and DC Servomotors, Reluctance Motor, Hybrid Motors, Universal Motors etc.
6. Transformers of Single and Three phase, Auto Transformer.
The department has developed excellent laboratories in the domain of Basic Electrical Engineering lab which consists of
1. Testing of Series and Parallel Resistances circuits
2. Test circuit Ohms law
3. Test circuits of Kirchhoff’s law
4. Basic theorem circuits of Superposition, Thevenins, Nortons, Maximum power etc.
5. Testing of Series RL, RC, RLC series and parallel circuits.
6. Testing of Bridge circuits.
These laboratories are proving helpful in elevating the UG courses of all the Engineering streams of education offered by the college.
